Ik heb even de tijd genomen om een eerlijke recentie te schrijven. Ik vond vanaf de eerste keer het verschil enorm. Mijn paard drukt zich graag op bij balans verlies. Hierdoor ben ik vaak te strak in mijn onderarmen. Daarom koos ik bewust voor een baucher met dubbel gebroken mondstuk. De verbinding is veel stabieler , stiller en niet meer los vast. Mijn paard durft nu het bit aan te nemen. Ik besef nu pas hoe vervelend mijn paard een metalen bit moet gevonden hebben. Dit is met het gelbit niet meer aan de orde. Daarnaast voelde ik het paard veel beter onder mij doorlopen. Een volledige soepele wervelkolom. Voorheen op deze manier nog nooit gevoeld. Super blij met het gevoel.

Zalige zadelpad. Eerlijk gezegd gebruikte ik de 10 mm al een tijdje. Maar deze is zoveel fijner voor mijn rug. Ook mijn paard loopt aangenamer en voelt vrijer in zijn beweging. Niet goedkoop maar een o zo fijne ervaring. Top materiaal. Dochter gebruikt deze ook sinds kort op wedstrijd en is hier ook zeer tevreden over.

Eindelijk een mondstuk gevonden waar de mondhoeken en de lagen van mijn paard heel mee blijven!

Ik heb een gevoelige merrie die vaak onrustig is met haar hoofd/mond. Die bit vindt ze duidelijk een stuk fijner. Veel rustiger aanleuning volgt makkelijker mijn hand. Ik ben fan!

Mijn paard heeft altijd op een dubbelgebroken bitje gelopen. Op het begin moest hij even wennen. Maar na ongeveer 30 min ging dit hardstikke goed. Na 3 trainingen merkte ik al veel verschil. Hij nam mijn hand aan en zocht deze ook op. Normaal bleef hij in zijn houding hangen en bleef hij net wat achter de hand. Tot nu toe erg tevreden over!

Fijn bit! Mijn paard vond een enkel gebroken en dubbel gebroken trensje niet fijn. Deze lijkt stabiel in zijn mond te liggen. Hij kauwt er wat op als hij stilstaat, maar tijdens het werk houdt hij zijn mond stil. Blij met deze aankoop!

Mijn eigenwijze merrie moest even wennen aan het nieuwe item in haar mond, maar na 2x rijden duidelijk verschil! Ze pakt rechts niet meer vast en mijn bijrijdsters hebben geen slofteugel meer nodig. De bitringen geven duidelijk meer druk op het kopstuk. Heel blij mee.

Het lijkt er zeker op dat mijn paard zijn rug beter gebruikt. Ik wacht nog op mijn eigen zadel om het ook daarmee te proberen. Wel heb ik mijn twijfels of ik wel de juiste maat heb en of ik niet beter 18"had kunnen bestellen. Als ik het niet secuur neer leg dan lijkt het iets naar achteren te schuiven en zit het zadel net op het randje.

Mijn paard heeft altijd moeite gehad met het bit aannemen. Na wat zoeken bij dit Winderen bit uitgekomen en nu na 5-6 keer rijden neemt mijn paard dit bit al veel meer aan, is mijn aanleuning stiller en kom ik meer tot (voorwaarts) rijden.

Het enige bit waar mijn paard echt fijn op loopt wat ook nogeens toegestaan is bij wedstrijden. (Gebruik wel met bitringen want omdat de zijstukken verwisselbaar zijn zit er wel een beetje speling).

M’n paard is heel blij met de pad! Enige nadeel is de prijs.

Meest fijne en paardvriendelijke bit wat ik tot nu toe heb gehad. Super flexibel, buigbaar en toch ontzettend sterk (mijn merrie kauwt veel op een bit). Ook veel minder dik dan verwacht omdat het afgeplat is ipv rond. Ik kan het iedereen dus aanraden, het is de prijs echt waard!

Ik ben enorm tevreden over de flexi stang! Mijn paard had een wondje in haar mond die steeds weer open ging zonder dat daar echt een rede voor was. Ik heb ruim een jaar lang alles geprobeerd! Zelfs het plekje weg laten snijden ruim een jaar geen bit in gehad maar helaas na 4 weken met bit rijden weer een beetje open. Werd er moedeloos van. Tot ik mijzelf verdiepte in gel bitten en hoopte dat het probleem misschien aan het materiaal zou liggen. Ik kwam bij van Winderen terecht en heb advies gevraagd. Zij hebben mij de mogelijkheid gegeven om een bit te testen. Met als mooi resultaat dat mijn paard erg fijn loopt, weer plezier heeft in het rijden en de zwakke plek in de mond van mijn paard dicht blijft! Ik ben dik tevreden en raad iedereen dit diervriendelijke flexi bit aan!!

De service van Winderen is super. Omdat ik niet wist of mijn paard voldoende belang had bij het bit dat ik gekozen had, kreeg ik de kans om het bit 7 dagen uit te proberen. Daarnaast heb ik intensief mailcontact gehad over de voor- en nadelen van dit bit, dat heeft ons enorm geholpen.

Hemel en aardeverschil met een standaard stijgbeugel die niet veert! Zalig rijden met deze beugels. 1 minpuntje misschien: het zooltje is verstelbaar maar er is geen sleuteltje meegeleverd om dit aan te passen.

Jarenlang hield ik problemen met de zoektocht naar een juist bit. Alles was in het werk gesteld om kleine verwonding aan mondhoek te voorkomen. De hand van de ruiter, het bit (specialisten ingeschakeld) , fysio, tandarts, laserstralen, etc. Kortom alles geprobeerd. Door te blijven zoeken kwam ik op de site van Winderen en wilde ik nog wel een x geloven in de recenties en de adviezen op de site. Ik had niets te verliezen immers. En sinds het gebruik van dit bit heeft mijn paard nooit meer hinder ondervinden van het wondje in zijn mondhoek. Ik kan verschillende hoofdstellen gebruiken er gebeurde niets meer met zijn mondhoeken. Hij kauwt er makkelijk op en reageert er super op. Na jarenlang van alles proberen is dit de oplossing geweest. Mijn paard en ik zijn zeer dankbaar voor deze ontwikkeling op het gebied van bitten en raad het 100% aan. De service en het contact zijn altijd zeer vriendelijk bij Winderen. Het enige waar ik spijt van heb is dat ik ze nooit eerder ontdekt heb.

Voor mijn paard met een extreem gevoelig mondje en dat absoluut geen ijzeren bit kan verdagen, zocht ik een bit met lichte hefboom voor de dressuur. Mijn paard is nogal heet en moest zich meer gaan dragen in plaats van op haar bit naar voor te leunen en enkel snelheid te willen nemen. Ik heb voor haar de baucher zijstukken gekozen omdat deze zijn toegelaten in de dressuursport. Mijn ervaring met dit bit voor: ze kan zich nog sterk maken als ze een "slechte" dag heeft maar laat zich wel beter begeleiden met dit bit waardoor ze zich beter draagt en de achterhand ook mooi onderkomt.

Ik heb jullie gecontacteerd en jullie uitgelegd wat het probleem was , mijn vraag was een juiste bit voor een jong ,gevoelig groot paard,hiervoor reed ik met een gewoon gebroken appeltrens ,dit was voor op te starten ok ,maar na een tijdje begon hij te blokkeren ,wat we al snel vast stelde dat dit van het bitje was ,ik had jullie advertentie al verschillende keren zien verschijnen op Instagram,had ook enkele reviews gelezen en die waren allemaal positief ,en ik kan dit alleen maar beamen ,jullie gaven me de info van de flexi stang en de D Trens te gebruiken ,en ja hoor wat een verschil ,hij loopt ongelooflijk ontspannen, neemt het bitje perfect aan ,hij reageert enorm positief ....blokkeerd niet meer ,wil werken ,blijft ongelooflijk onder controle echt een aanrader ,super tevreden mee

Ik ben echt super blij met mijn nieuwe bit, mijn paard doet het er echt goed met dit bit

Mijn paard trok heel vaak het ijzer van zijn hoef, dus hij droeg altijd springschoenen in de paddock of de stapmolen. Ook bij het longeren heb ik hem springschoenen aangedaan. Meestal kon je dat al na een week aan de springschoenen zien. Op regenachtige dagen verloor hij ze vaak, in de paddock, omdat het klittenband niet meer hield, hoewel de springschoenen nieuw waren. Ik gebruik Winderen's springschoenen nu al 10 maanden en ze zien er na het wassen nog steeds als nieuw uit.

Mijn paard is een echte vernietiger van springschoenen. Normaal gesproken was hij er na een week in geslaagd om het onderste gedeelte volledig aan flarden te scheuren. Elke maand een nieuw paar kopen was voor mij heel normaal. Nu gebruik ik de springschoenen van Winderen al meer dan een half jaar en verrassend genoeg houden ze nog steeds goed stand en zien ze er ook nog steeds heel goed uit :D

Toen ik mijn paard kocht, had hij vreemde bulten op de plaats van zijn zadel. Hoewel ik veel aandacht heb besteed aan een schone rug en verschillende huidproducten heb gebruikt, wilden ze gewoon niet weggaan. 3 weken geleden ben ik enkel nog met het Nanosilver zadeldek gaan rijden. Ik weet niet wat er gebeurd is, maar de bulten zijn weg! Ik raad de NanoSilver productlijn aan voor alle paardenbezitters met vergelijkbare problemen.

Mijn paard leed lange tijd aan ernstige dermatitis en aan mok op de voorbenen. Ondanks de snelle toediening van antibiotica bleef het probleem bestaan. De benen zwollen op, de huidproblemen kwamen steeds terug. Ik begon de stalbandages te gebruiken en al de eerste nacht was de zwelling vrijwel verdwenen! Na enkele dagen waren de huidsymptomen volledig verdwenen. Ik denk dat de NanoSilver stalbandages een grote en zeer effectieve ondersteuning zijn voor een lokale behandeling. Ze versnellen zeker het regeneratieproces, beschermen de benen optimaal en beschermen ook de huid tegen nieuwe infecties.

Trainingsbandages van Winderen zijn eenvoudig aan te brengen, zien er goed uit en trekken geen zand aan. Samen met de wraps zijn ze geweldig, zelfs voor springwedstrijdtrainingen omdat ze de benen van het paars perfect beschermen, zelf tegen een zware impact. Geweldige set.

Ik gebruik de trainingsset van Winderen nu sinds een half jaar elke dag. De benen van mijn paard transpireren niet onder de wraps, zelfs niet op extra warme dagen en het nanozilver heeft geholpen tegen de huidproblemen. Ik ben ook blij dat er geen zand aan de bandages blijft plakken, en,het belangrijkste is dat ze sterk zijn en de benen van het paard goed beschermen tijdens de training.

Ik gebruik nu een half jaar lange trainingwraps samen met trainingsbandages voor dagelijkse ritten en ik ben erg tevreden over de set. De wraps passen perfect om het been en garanderen een goede bescherming. Wat erg belangrijk is bij de dressuur is dat ze tijdens het rijden niet verschuiven en spierwit van kleur zijn. En ook de bandages zijn erg sterk en er blijft geen zand aan kleven.

Tijdens het gebruik van de Winderen Gel Bits System stang, zoeken mijn paarden naar gelijkmatig contact. Het werd zeer goed geaccepteerd door paarden in verschillende stadia van de training. Zelfs een van de oudere paarden stopte met het over de stang gooien van zijn tong,  wat tot nu toe gebruikelijk was! Ik raad het ten zeerste aan!

Ik kan de Winderen bitten zeker aanraden, en mijn paarden ook. Ik heb ze bij 8 paarden getest en ze namen het bit allemaal zonder problemen aan. Ze hangen niet in het bit, zijn ontspannen en werkwillig. Tegelijkertijd houden ze het hoofd bij de les. En wat de stijgbeugels van Winderen betreft, kan ik alleen maar zeggen dat sinds ik ze gebruik ik geen vermoeidheid in mijn benen meer bespeur.

Toen Winderen Equestrian me vroeg of ik zijn nieuwe stijgbeugels wilde testen, was ik niet helemaal zeker. Ik was tevreden over mijn oude stijgbeugels en had gelukkig nooit problemen gehad met mijn knieën. Ik dacht dat stijgbeugels die speciaal ontwikkeld waren voor ondersteuning van de knieën voor mij geen verschil zouden maken. Toch bewezen ze het absolute tegendeel: de nieuwe Winderen stijgbeugels maken DAADWERKELIJK het verschil, vooral wanneer je als beroepsruiter zoals ik elke dag 6 paarden rijdt. Ze bieden enorm veel steun en stabiliteit en dat is vooral bij jonge paarden of bij het buitenrijden een voordeel. Daarbovenop hinderen ze me niet bij het geven van fijne hulpen, wat als dressuurruiter zeer belangrijk is. Na een zware dag voelen mijn gewrichten op de een of andere manier “minder vermoeid” aan. Dat heeft me echt positief verrast.

Ik gebruik de Winderen stijgbeugels nu sedert 2 maanden en ze bevallen me zeer goed. Door een vroegere blessure heb ik pijn aan mijn enkel en knie. Ik heb veel verschillende stijgbeugels uitgeprobeerd, maar geen enkele verhielp de pijn in mijn enkel. Door de stijgbeugels van Winderen kan ik niet alleen pijnvrij rijden, maar ervaar ik ook meer stabiliteit dan bij andere stijgbeugels.

De beste zadelonderlegger die ik ooit heb gebruikt! Ik heb de slim-versie voor mijn dressuurzadel. Mijn paard loopt niet alleen beter, maar voelt zich duidelijk ook beter, loopt beter over de rug en zijn galop is ruimer! De zadelonderlegger is echt mijn ding en is absoluut zijn geld waard!

Het belangrijkste in de paardensport is het een-zijn met uw paard en dat kan alleen worden bereikt door een efficiënte onderlinge communicatie. Ik heb voor de bitten van Winderen gekozen omdat ze vervaardigd zijn uit een materiaal dat aangenaam is voor de paardenmond, en de verwisselbare zijstukken en de verschillende mondstukken perfect op elk paard afzonderlijk kunnen worden afgestemd. De bitten bevorderen het kauwen en worden door paarden van alle leeftijdsklassen goed geaccepteerd.

Het flexibele gel-mondstuk is enerzijds ideaal voor gevoelige paarden die problemen hebben met nageeflijkheid en anderzijds zijn de stang-mondstukken met tongboog geschikt voor paarden die hard zijn in de mond. Paarden accepteren beide mondstukken goed wat bevorderlijk is voor de prestaties onder het zadel. De mogelijkheid om zijstukken te kunnen verwisselen is mooi meegenomen. Zo kunnen we het aantal bitten in de zadelkamer immers reduceren.

Dit bit is gemaakt uit zacht en aangenaam materiaal waardoor het door paarden goed wordt geaccepteerd, wat zich laat voelen in het rijden dat als aangenaam en efficiënt wordt ervaren. Het systeem van verwisselbare zijstukken is een uiterst innovatieve en universele oplossing omdat we daardoor de werking van het bit in elke richting kunnen beïnvloeden, zonder het mondstuk, dat al door het paard werd geaccepteerd, opnieuw te moeten verwisselen. Dat voordeel is vooral van belang bij het werken met jonge paarden, omdat een wissel van een stang naar een gebroken bit of van kunststof naar metaal vaak voor verwarring zorgt wat dan op zijn beurt weer onnodige complicaties en stress met zich meebrengt. Ik kan dit bit dus alleen maar aanbevelen!

Het Winderen zadeldekje ligt heel goed op de rug van het paard en het opzadelen verloopt veel gemakkelijker. Dankzij de stijfheid van het materiaal en de anatomische vorm hoeft u alleen maar het zadeldekje op de juiste plaats te leggen en alles is perfect. Samen met de Back Protect Solution zadelonderlegger heb je de perfecte combinatie, ik kan me niet meer voorstellen dat ik zonder het Winderen zadeldekje of de zadelonderlegger rijd. De zadeldekjes zijn ook zeer gemakkelijk te wassen, ze veranderen niet van vorm of kleur en zien er ook na het wassen in de machine nog als nieuw uit.

Vroeger had ik altijd problemen met zadeldekjes, die gleden en bewogen onder het zadel tijdens het rijden, vooral in de springles, dus het grootste voordeel van het Winderen zadeldekje voor mij is dat het perfect op de rug van het paard blijft liggen en niet wegglijdt tijdens het rijden. Dit betekent dat ik me eindelijk volledig kan concentreren op mijn training en me geen zorgen meer hoef te maken over het aanpassen van mijn materiaal.

Wat ik het leukst vind aan het Winderen zadeldekje is het materiaal waarvan het gemaakt is. Ik gebruik ze elke dag en, zoals iedereen weet, komt een zadeldekje in de stal en op de rug van het paard vaak in contact met vacht, vuil en stof. Het proper maken van dit dekje is zeer eenvoudig, enkel met een spons of borstel even afvegen en het ziet er weer als nieuw uit. Een ander voordeel van het materiaal is de ademende werking, die vooral op warme dagen direct merkbaar is. Ook de vorm van de zadelonderlegger is geweldig, hij ligt perfect op de rug van het paard.

Als een totale shopaholic op het gebied van paardenspullen kan ik alleen maar het Winderen Anatomic Top Line zadeldekje aanbevelen. Het is perfect afgewerkt, met veel liefde voor het detail en zeer goed wasbaar – eer zijn geen problemen met stof, zweet, haar, lederzeep en zelfs niet met lijm voor rijlaarzen. Het zadeldekje ligt door zijn anatomische vorm optimaal op de rug van het paard en glijdt niet weg, dus passanten voor de singel zijn volledig onnodig. De innovatieve vorm past perfect bij het springzadel. Bovendien absorbeert het zeer goed paardenzweet en behoudt het zijn vorm, stevigheid en kleur na het wassen, wat heel belangrijk is. He ondermateriaal is perfect voor de gevoelige paardenrug en het materiaal ter hoogte van de singel is versterkt om wegglijden te voorkomen. De randen van economisch leder geven het meer stijl en elegantie. Ik kijk uit naar meer kleuren. Ik kan u dit zadeldekje ten zeerste aanbevelen!

Als testruiter van de Winderen Knee Protect solution, na ernstig letsel, een multifragmentaire fremurfractuur, beveel ik de stijgbeugels van harte aan. Fantastische schokdemping, stabiele voetondersteuning, een gevoel van veiligheid en trainen zonder pijn. Ik heb ze nu drie maanden gebruikt bij elke training en ik kan mij nauwelijks meer voorstellen dat ik ze niet zou gebruiken. Topproduct van het hoogste niveau.

Ik ben een 20 jaar oude springruiter en heb jaren last gehad van mijn knieën. Ik heb problemen met mijn knieschijf, ben aan beide knieën geopereerd maar heb nog steeds bij tijd en wijle pijnlijke knieën zowel tijdens het rijden (vooral bij het springen) als daarna. Ik heb denk ik alle stijgbeugels die er op de markt zijn geprobeerd, maar helaas losten deze het probleem niet op. Mijn knieën bleven pijn doen. Als gevolg van de problemen met mijn knieën ben ik een jaar geleden gekwalificeerd als ‘interessant testpersoon” en ben een van de testrijders van Winderen geworden. En vanaf de eerste rit merkte ik een groot verschil en dat was een hele opluchting voor mij. Elke rit met Winderen stijgbeugels is een waar genot en ik hoef helemaal niet te denken aan pijn in mijn knieën. Om de testresultaten te kunnen bevestigen, hebben we diverse keren van stijgbeugels veranderd, maar het effect was steeds hetzelfde: als ik Winderen stijgbeugels gebruik heb ik geen pijn. Rijd ik met beugels van een ander merk, dan heb ik dat wel. Ik beveel de Knee Protect Solution stijgbeugels van harte aan omdat ze voor een compleet andere rijervaring zorgen voor ruiters met dezelfde klachten als ik.

Ik ben altijd geïnteresseerd in nieuwe producten, vooral als ze alleen maar goede reviews hebben. Maar, eerlijk is eerlijk, ik ga natuurlijk niet alleen af op een goede review. De onderlegger is in elk opzicht fantastisch. Mijn paard is blij en ik kan eindelijk mijn veters strikken zonder pijn in mijn rug. En natuurlijk, grote lof voor de communicatie met de verkoper - vriendelijkheid en professionaliteit op het hoogste niveau!

Ik gebruik de zadelonderlegger sinds vorig jaar februari. Omdat ik een paard met kissing spines heb, dacht ik dat dit zadelonderlegger wel iets zou zijn. Eén ding weet ik zeker. Mijn paard heeft nooit eerder rugspieren ontwikkeld en nu dus wel. Echt waar. Tot nu toe was de spieropbouw van mijn paard een uitdaging. Meestal, ondanks de goede spierontwikkeling van de rest van het lijf, waren tekortkomingen zichtbaar bij de rugspieren. Eerst dacht ik dat het lag aan het feit dat het zadel niet goed paste. Maar nadat ik het zadel had aangepast, was het probleem niet opgelost. We begonnen met rijden met de zadelonderlegger vanaf begin vorig jaar en vanaf dat moment ontwikkelden de rugspieren van mijn paard zich een stuk beter. Als je bedenkt dat het een paard met kissing spines is, kan ik je eerlijk zeggen dat zijn rugspieren op dit moment echt perfect zijn. We zullen nooit het ideale resultaat bereiken, maar op dit moment ziet het er echt fantastisch uit. Mijn paard vindt het leuk om te trainen, ontspant gemakkelijk en gebruikt zijn rugspieren. Ik denk dus dat de onderlegger volledig aan onze eisen voldoet. Ik ben er erg blij mee.

De Winderen zadelonderlegger is echt fantastisch. Ik kan echt niet meer zonder. Deze onderlegger heeft mijn paard soepeler gemaakt, meer ontspannen in de rug en hij is meer bereid te werken. Hij voelt zich beslist comfortabeler en beweegt een stuk beter. Ik heb zelfs een beter paard dan dat ik ooit gedacht heb. En dat alleen door de Winderen zadelonderlegger te gebruiken.

De zadelonderlegger voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen, mijn paard vindt de onderlegger fantastisch. Ik raad deze beslist aan.

Ik ben geen professioneel ruiter, maar altijd op zoek naar de beste oplossingen voor mij en mijn paard. Wij hebben beide last van terugkerende rugklachten. Ik heb al verschillende goede rugbeschermers geprobeerd. Helaas voldeed er geen een aan onze eisen. Winderen is het best. Na het rijden hebben noch ik noch mijn paard rugpijn. Ik ben absoluut onder de indruk. Ik ben heel erg benieuwd naar de nieuwe producten.

Winderen stijgbeugels zijn de beste keus voor mensen die last hebben van hun benen. Ik gebruik ze vanaf het moment dat ik een blessure opliep en ik voel dat mijn benen stevig ondersteund worden. Ik heb bovendien veel minder pijn in mijn knieën dan vroeger. Het gewicht van de beugels is perfect in balans daarom weet ik altijd waar de beugel precies onder mijn voet zit. Omdat dit ook de eerste beugels met schokdemping zijn, blijft ik het contact met mijn paard houden.

Werkt correct, alleen beetje vreemd dat er geen haakjes aan zijn voor de kin'ketting', maar goed, dat hebben we er dan wel zelf aangezet

Amazing product, which improved my horses way of going tremendously. We have correctly fitted Childeric dressage saddle, but still there was room for improvement. Size 17" is perfect an accurate for our 17" saddle. Highly recommended - worth every penny.

The mouthpiece does indeed appear to be indestructible. This is the only Liverpool bit with a flexible mouthpiece. My horse seems to like it. Seems well made.

I am obsessed with this pad — I’ve never had such a perfect thickness with such impressive material. With a custom made saddle for my wide shouldered gelding, this pad adds shock absorbency without negatively affecting the integrity of the custom cut by being too thick or bulky in the wrong places. Another fantastic Winderen product. I got these as my young horse had random and very bad mud fever this summer from all the rain, long wet grass and fly bites. 9 weeks I have been trying to fix him and nothing has been working. I got these instead of the stable wraps because he has small legs, i just used these over night and we have seen a massive improvement, we used them every night and in 2 weeks his legs are almost clear. I also switched to simple aloe vera during the day but thats all I changed. So not quite what they are meant for but they did the job. They are very soft too and lovely to use. #lovesilverions

I already have the comfort jump which is fantastic so wanted the comfort dressage too. I was using riser pads as both saddles are a bit wide for the horse but with comfort pads they fit really well. Horse is noticeably more relaxed using them and saddles feel so secure. Well worth the money for us.

Super pleased with my purchase! I have a young and very sensitive young horse. She is in the process of having adult teeth come in and has been very sensitive and reactive to metal bits. After trying the super flexi mouth piece, she immediately took to the bit and I have been able to have a great feel/contact while riding. The mouth piece is also super durable and has not at all been affected by any chewing. Overall, this will definitely be a go to bit of mine moving forward!

I’m so impressed with this bit! My pony was a carriage horse and started under saddle as a 12 year old. I’ve tried a variety of bits over the last year of him as a riding horse but not until the Winderen did I find one that he truly accepted. I was worried he would just blow through it with how soft it is. I was wrong! He is going lovely and actually reaches out for the bit when I tack him up. My senior Belgian Draft horse who came to me recently had some horrible torture device of a bit that came with him, covered in rust, flakey chrome pieces and dirt. I bought him a Super Flexi and added some check guards. When I introduced him to the Super Flexi Bit for the first time, he tensed right up, expecting the harsh bit that he was used to. Once he took hold of the Super Flexi, and it was in his mouth, he completely relaxed his whole body. He played with it in his mouth for a while, and I adjusted his bridle. When we set out to do some ‘ground driving’ he reacted perfectly. He was relaxed, reins were loose, and he did everything he was asked to do. The Winderen Super Flexi has been a very positive experience for my big boy. Thank you! I would like rubber bits for all my horses, but I don't see anything small enough for my smallest pony. 4 inches to 4 1/2 inches?

This bit has been very well received by my thoroughbred. He is more laced and listening to it, he doesn’t “run through it” or hang on the bit. When finished, he chews and he opens his mouth to accept the bit without my having to ask him. The bit might be a touch more rigid, but the semi flex was to giving. He is responsive to this product.

This is an amazing product. I noticed the difference in my horse immediately! He was softer over the back, more willing to stretch forward into the bit which created more elevation and length of stride. Gave to a friend to try out and she was in love from the first ride, she has difficulty with her back and she noticed a massive difference after riding.

This bit is a game changer! First off, ordering process was easy and delivery was within a few short days! Although replies took a time change period, response was always consistent and good. My horse is in heaven with the gel bit. She used to throw her head from pain, despite having the lightest metal double jointed bit. She started to refuse it. Now, she litterally draws her head down eager to open her mouth. Finally, the ride is spectacular. As we slowly adjust to this new system, my horse takes the bit eagerly and looks for the contact, naturally applying weight and moving onto the bit on her own. Absolutely love this bit and technology! perfectly soft for my 3 yo he has an extremely sensitive mouth; tends to cut up his sides. I am able to use it softly and/or have stronger control when he is feeling bit forward and on jumping days!

I have ridden in several different brands of stirrups to find relief for my ankles and knees and I have finally found the right solution for what I was looking for. These stirrups are worth every penny and I will not ride a saddle without them!

I have had several weeks to try this half pad on several different horses. The first time I rode with the Winderen half pad, I noticed a difference in the quality of ride. I thought it might be my imagination but after riding several different horses, I noticed immediate improvement in all of them. The quality is excellent and the design makes adjusting the fit to each horse super easy.

My feedback is simple. I am a 60 yo former athlete and long time equestrian (dressage, jumping, trails) and these irons make my legs feel like they did when I was 20.

I have chronic knee pain due to under developed knee caps so pain while riding was a fact of life. Using my Winderen stirrups, I expected no knee while riding for the first time in my life!

I have a TB with very asymmetric shoulders and have had a very hard time with saddle fit with him. In spite of constant reflocking and shimming the saddle would push off to one side and he was very unhappy, wringing his tail constantly. I was amazed by the difference using this pad, and I didn’t even get the correction version. He is softer in his back, there is no tail wringing and the saddle is much more stable. When it does shift it is minimal and it doesn’t bother him, I assume due to the shock absorption. I am so impressed and while the price is a bit eye watering, this was worth every penny for me.

I love this pad. It’s so intelligently designed. The foam and felt shims are very high quality. The black stripe makes it so easy to align evenly under the saddle. The stretch fabric over the wither cutout is such a perfect solution to the problem of keeping a pad in place without pulling tight over the withers. My only advice to buyers is to size down. My saddle is 17.5, and the 18” half pad is maybe a little too generous. I could have done with the 17”. It’s very easy to add or change shims. My horse is so much more comfortable with this pad and gives me his back like never before. A barn friend already bought one for her horse, too. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought the Comfort pad for starting my new 4 year old under saddle. I knew her back muscling would be changing as she develops and I wanted to make sure she feels loose and comfortable with a rider on her. Starting her went extremely well and she seemed immediately comfortable with the weight of the rider. I think the impact cushioning is especially helpful for young horses learning to move under a rider.

Great pad and sent very quickly

I love this girth so much. Five star but the initial use gave my horse a bald little spot. i tried it on two other horses, same thing. After consulting the company, it might be the change in season and longer more brittle hair. Nothing got worse, no sores and my horse is very comfortable in it. I recommend getting the size under what you think it should be. they size long.

When deciding to try this bit my KWPN mare had 2 issues, low palate and super fussy with contact. From the moment I first put the bridle on and swung my leg over there was no rooting, chomping or grinding of teeth. This company is amazing. They assisted me with making the correct choice for my horse on support wraps. My horse had an injury and was going to rehab. Winderen even went as far to assist me with how to wrap the injury area. My vet is so happy to see a company to take the time to assist with you with their products.

We now have all 3 of our horses in Super Flexi mullen mouth Winderen bits (yes we bought 3 bits!). Two off track thoroughbreds and a hanoverian - all with sensitive mouths. These bits have been a game changer! all 3 horses are much more willing to accept contact and are MUCH lighter in the bridle. Thank you Winderen!

The change in our horse was immediate. We were using a shimmed thinline with our brand new saddle because the foam decompressed and started sitting low on his withers. I started researching half-pads that weren’t bulky down the spine or wither, and the Winderen popped up. I took a chance and purchased it. We will never use another half-pad again. Our horse no longer hesitates at the jumps, runs and bucks on the other side of a jump when he feels he wasn’t set up at the correct distance and when he’s doing long and low his nose is in the dirt. We didn’t tell our coach about the new half-pad and she noticed a difference immediately and didn’t understand what had changed overnight until I told her. I can’t stress enough that the 2nd most important piece of tack next to the saddle is your half-pad. This was worth every penny and there will be more half-pads purchased from Canada because we are letting people use it! It has also stopped back pain for my daughter when riding. She absolutely loves this half-pad and how comfortable they both are in it. It really shows!

I have a 18" saddle so I bought a 18" saddle pad. It seems to be too big (better too big than too short :) but... My advice is mesure the saddle and compare to the details given in the products description to choose properly. Reduction of shocks if just that good help to work out your seat. I needed the corrections to fit with a lost of weight, this made the saddle fit perfectly while the weight recovery.

This bit was an experiment for us but has worked really well, We use it for driven dressage. It would be even better if the mouthpiece was black

This is a beautifully made product. The metal work is great. The mouthpieces are easy to interchange, unfortunately horse didn’t care for the mouthpiece because it is so thick.

I wish this pad had a tad more length. I have a 17.5" saddle but should have ordered the 18" pad length.

The bit I received was too small for my horse. I have sent it back as instructed by you and I’m still waiting for the replacement.

Definitely feel the cushioning on their back but wish I got the thinner one as it feels like saddle slipping sometimes.

My horse loves it. Instantly stopped pulling his head down against the bit. I should have gone a size up the design of the eggbutt makes it possible to pinch his lip if he sucks it back too far, but that is the beauty of the design you can buy the individual parts you need.

I really love the pad. The horse I use it on is super happy with it. I also bought the correction inserts. I like them, I just wish they came with the piece that they slip into when you buy them separately. Apparently if you buy the correction set, you get an additional sleeve that makes it easier to use, but when you buy the pieces separately you do not, despite paying the same amount. Overall I really like the system.

Absolut perfect

I like the bit so far. My client also got one and I realized I did not get the most flexible option that I had wanted. However, I am fine with it and between the two of us, we have two different options to use. The horses are liking the bits and accepting contact a bit easier. Old habits of the horse being overly respectful to the bit (one is a nervous chewer) are not quickly changed, so more time will show if they accept more contact and seek the bit more easily. The down side; I do not like the small d ring for our Hunter show horses who look better in a larger size. I did not get the full cheek, but I see the same issue. It must be a European thing. I can see this bit replacing the popular Happy Mouth bit that is so popular here in America. Fir the customer if the bit, the small d ring might be an issue.

Lovely pad. I have two of the standard ones that are super. If I was to buy this correction pad again I would buy the thin version as I found this one too thick once adding in the shims.

My OTTB loves the mouthpiece and it has just enough leverage to ask her to come back when she gets excited. Great craftmanship. Would consider purchasing the same mouthpiece but with a different cheekpiece to add to my arsenal.

This is a lovely bit. The workmanship is perfect. The material is encouraging. Unfortunately my fat cheeked mare likes a thinner bit version. This is no fault of the bit, it is just a fussy red-headed mare.

The pad was easy to order and shipping from overseas to the US took less than a week. During unboxing, I immediately felt this pad was much larger than expected. I measured it against my other dressage pads and the length and height were similar but the width was much different. The shape of the pad creates a lot of extra padding in the front and on my 16 hand horse, it blocks half of his shoulder. I haven’t ridden in this of because I feel it it limiting to his motion due to the shape. I reached out to Winderen and they were willing to exchange it free of charge for another size. However, I took away two stars from my rating because they were not willing to cover the cost of shipping in order to complete the exchange. I checked with USPS and UPS and the cost to ship was going to exceed the cost of the purchase of the pad, so this was a lost cause. I have no qualms about the quality of the product but would not want someone else to end up in this situation, with a product they are stuck with and don’t want to keep. I took away another star from what would have been a 5 star rating due to the fact that I now own an expensive pad that I don’t use and will probably end up giving it to a friend with a larger horse.

I love the technology. This color might look best in outdoor light, however. It looks just grey in our indoor.

This technology is amazing for my sore right knee as well as improving my overall balance and effectiveness in the saddle. They help me to reduce my tendency to brace through my right leg which increases my ease in using that leg.

The eggbutt snaffle side piece is easily assembled with the superflexi mouthpiece. My young OTTB much prefers the gel bits to a metal bit. He is more settled with his gel bit and more focussed under saddle.

I like the stirrups once I actually got the leathers attached. That was a 2 man job. Maybe make the opening a little larger?

A friend recommended these to me last year, but I was reluctant to try them as I was partial to my big fluffy sheepskin pads. After waiting 2 months for a custom ordered half pad and receiving the wrong item, I decided to try the Winderen instead. These half pads are a game changer. I have a sensitive TB that requires chiro by my vet every 4-6 weeks. I received the pad in October. Between then and his next appointment in December, we had a rigorous 3 day clinic, trail ride in a national forest, and I had increased the amount of sitting trot in our work. Although he had issues in other areas of his body during the visit, my chiro/vet said the improvement in his back was amazing. It was the one area he showed no issues. I now even place it under my bareback pad when I ride. I also love that the cover can be removed and washed. Just a really gorgeous, innovative and quality product! Highly recommended!

Love the feel of these stirrups - you really do get the sense of shock absorption. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, however, because of the difficulty finding leathers that fit through the miniscule opening at the top. Please, please re-design to allow leathers of normal thickness and width. Even better if they could fit the wide leathers that add to stability and that so many of us prefer.

I LOVE the bit, the quality of the mouthpiece is very inviting to the horse, the one I ordered was a bit too large in diameter mainly due to not understanding the sizing when I ordered. I will be ordering more.

I can’t say enough about the pad, it is exactly the comfort for the horse that you explain it to be, I also know another woman who ordered as well and we are both extremely happy with them, I am a converted Mattis user because these offer better fit, MUCH easier care and don’t hold so much of the heat over the back. Again I ordered too big, I ride in a 17.5 and ordered the 18 so my advise to others is don’t order up stay true to your size. I will be ordering more.

My only issue was the £50 import tax I got stung with that I wasn’t aware of. I know it’s not winderen taxing me but might be worth staring at time of ordering as I already had to spend more for you to ship to the uk, to then have import tax on top was a shock

I wasnt sure quite what my horse would think of this as it’s so bendy and soft, but it is fab. My go to bit now for all 3 horses. I’m tempted to try a smaller one for my daughters ponies too!

Bought this for our young daughter’s galloway to help protect his back. From the first ride he moved more freely and noticeably lifted his back under the saddle. The pad fit really well and there was no slippage at all, even after an hour’s work on the arena at all gaits. I must also mention that the packaging for the pad when it arrived was amazing. It came in its own timber box with sliding lid. Fast delivery given it came from Europe. Highly recommend and will be buying one of our other horse.
